Mrs. Holguin, our dedicated librarian, introduced all PreK-5th grade students to our amazing Makerspace. During the orientation, students were guided through the various stations, each designed to ignite creativity and foster hands-on learning.
Our Makerspace offers a variety of engaging areas, including a creative art space where students can let their imaginations soar, a technology and coding section for budding programmers, and an engineering and building zone where future inventors can bring their ideas to life.
To ensure that every student has the opportunity to benefit from this innovative space, teachers can sign up once a month to bring their class to the Makerspace. During these visits, students will complete various tasks tailored to enhance their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
This dynamic environment has quickly become a favorite among students, providing them with the tools and opportunities to explore, create, and innovate. We’re excited to see the incredible projects that will emerge from our Makerspace this year!
